BIG FLUTE FESTIVAL
Congratulations to Concert Flute teacher Ermelinda Xyheri and her students who represented the school at the Big Flute Festival in the Royal Irish Academy of Music. You all did the school and Kerry proud.
Classes commence in all
centres on Monday, September 10th. Call us for advice on 0667120077. Returning students who have already registered will have got their timetables by email in the past week. First time students should be able to to begin also in the first week.
Adult students are always welcome to enquire about lessons at the School. Retirement is a great time to take up a life-long ambition to play a musical instrument.
Parents or adult students can book a single lesson or a 5-lesson taster package for any instrument including voice. Parents considering voice lessons can also avail of a free vocal assessment.
Applications are invited for scholarships in lower String and Wind instruments. Applicants re- quire no previous musical training but may be asked to take a music aptitude assessment.
A limited number of scholarships are also offered to first-time students who display a potential for excellence in their chosen subject. Contact the Director for further information.
