The re­sults of the Ballyduff GAA Lotto Draw for Mon­day Septem­ber 3rd are as fol­lows; The num­bers drawn were 6,16,17 & 18. COF­FEE MORN­ING

The an­nual Hospice Cof­fee Morn­ing will take place at the Ballyduff Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Thurs­day Septem­ber 20th from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 7.00pm to 10.00pm. All are wel­come amd all pro­ceeds go the Kerry Hospice Foun­da­tion and re­mem­ber all monies raised in Kerry are used in Kerry. Your con­tin­ued sup­port is very much ap­pre­ci­ated.121

BALLYDUFF IN BLOOM/ TIDY TOWNS

We re­cently re­moved all our bas­kets from the main street and we would like to thank all our vol­un­teers who looked af­ter the bas­kets dur­ing the year.With­out your sup­port we would not be able to have hang­ing bas­kets along the street and ap­proach roads.We also wish to ac­knowl­edge the re­cent grant of €1,000 from K.C.C Com­mu­nity En­hance­ment Pro­gramme. This will al­low us to con­tinue with our plans to de­velop the Rat­too en­trance to the vil­lage.

PRI­MARY SCHOOL CROSS COUN­TRY

All pri­mary school pupils in Ballyduff are in­vited to take part in the Pri­mary Schools cross coun­try evening on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 19th in Ard­fert in An Fear­ann grounds (near Ard­fert Med­i­cal Cen­tre). This is a new event for the West North Kerry area and there will be races for all classes from first to sixth, boys and girls and medals will be awarded to the top 6 in each race. There will be a shield for the best over­all school. The fun be­gins at 6.00pm with regis­tra­tion which costs €2.

This a great op­por­tu­nity to in­tro­duce new ath­letes to athletics and health. Fur­ther in­for­ma­tion will be avail­able from the pri­mary school this week or from St Bren­dan’s AC sec­re­tary Irene on 087 7985557.

Train­ing con­tin­ues at 6.30pm on Wed­nes­days in An Fear­ann for all age-groups from 7 years up­wards.
