The Kerryman (Tralee Edition) - - SPORT -

It’s hard to lost past the man who scored 1-6 and lit the place up in a major way and we’re not going to – James O’Donoghue was the main man – but there were other impressive performers. Conor Keane and Jamie O’Sullivan especially. For Mid Kerry Liam Carey and Ciaran Kennedy impressed, while Donnchadh Walsh had a really good second half out around the middle.

Probably it was Conor Keane’s goal midway through the first half. The game was already trending in the Legion’s direction, but Keane’s goal really confirmed it.

Is he back? It certainly appeared that way and seeing as O’Donoghue was back and seeing how well he did with a little bit of match sharpness you’d have to wonder if there’s an argument to be made that some local fixtures could be played during the intercounty campaign to give players match fitness and sharpness.
