The Kerryman (Tralee Edition) - - SPORT -

Every East Kerry forward played a big part in this victory. David Clifford carries a huge threat every time he gets on the ball and Kevin McCarthy did a lot of selfless word, but it’s hard to look past their top scorer DARA ROCHE who scored 2-2 from play

So many twists and turns in a game that produced eight goals and some excellent points, but East Kerry’s third goal was a real game changer. Trailing by just a point six minutes in to the second half Dingle had every reason to feel confident of matching East Kerry stride for stride but then Dara Moynihan’s clever and icisive pass found Evan Cronin who turned inside his man and tucked away a smart goal. That put East Kerry four ahead and then put on the after-burners from there, scoring another 3-8 before the end.

As the first of a Fitzgerald Stadium double-header there were noises after this performance that East Kerry could be champions in waiting. When Dr Crokes lost in the second game those noises simply grew louder
