Man charged with dangerous driving causing death in Duagh
A 21-year-old man from Abbeyfeale has been charged with dangerous driving causing death in Duagh last year.
John Stack, Caherhayes, Abbeyfeale, appeared before Judge David Waters at Listowel District Court on Thursday charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Carmel Carmody at Foildarrig, Duagh, Listowel, on November 11 of 2017, contrary to the provisions of section 53 of the Road Traffic Act.
Mr Stack attended court in Listowel on Thursday in the company of his father.
Legal aid was granted Mr Stack with solicitor Pádraig O’Connell assigned the case.
The case was adjourned by Judge Waters until November 15 next for service of the book of evidence.
