50 Cana­dian stu­dents at IT

IT SLIGO’S IN­TER­NA­TIONAL STU­DENTS TAKE IN COUNTY’S BEAUTY

PIC­TURED are some of IT Sligo’s sig­nif­i­cant in­ter­na­tional stu­dent group­ing who who climbed Knocknarea moun­tain and also vis­ited Glen­car Wa­ter­fall last week as part of their in­duc­tion pro­gramme at the col­lege.

The In­sti­tute cur­rently has 359 in­ter­na­tional stu­dents from 49 dif­fer­ent coun­tries.

The new in­take has seen a record num­ber of Cana­dian stu­dents (50) take up full-time cour­ses at the col­lege.

IT Sligo has also wel­comed its first In­done­sian stu­dent, Maria Tam­tomo Putri, who is study­ing for a BA (Hon­ours) in Ar­chi­tec­tural De­sign.

There are cur­rently 20 dif­fer­ent na­tion­al­i­ties on the Ar­chi­tec­tural De­sign de­gree pro­gramme.
