Hazelwood Tri a big success

THE Hazelwood Olympic Triathlon was another brilliant success on Saturday with huge crowds taking part and spectators coming out to support the athletes.

Organisers said the event was very successful. “A fantastic day was had at Sligo Triathlon Club’s, Hazelwood Olympic Triathlon that was held on 7th July. First and foremost race director Gemma Madden, and the Hazelwood race committee Kieran McMorland & Sheila Devaney would like to thank the following sponsors and support organizations;

Call of the Wild, Run Pod, Chain Driven Cycles, Total Produce West, Kelly’s Cakes & Bakes, Good 4 You, Voya Seaweed Baths, Fusion Finance, Buckleys and The Sligo Cham- pion. Also extreme thanks for support received from Sligo Civil Defence , Calry Clubhouse, Sligo County Council, Coillte and all our kayakers including Sligo Kayak Club as without this support these events would not be able to happen.
