Hans­berry part of Cup win­ners Wex­ford Youths

SLIGO was cel­e­brat­ing the suc­cess of Emma Hans­berry once again when the star foot­ball was part of the vic­to­ri­ous Wex­ford Youths side who won the FAI Women’s Cup Fi­nal on Sun­day.

Emma played an in­te­gral role in the 1-0 win over Peamount United in the Aviva Sta­dium on Sun­day with the tal­ented foot­baller mak­ing the all-im­por­tant cross to team­mate Ka­t­rina Parrock for the goal in the 35th minute which proved to be the win­ner.

The Youths sealed the tre­ble and con­grat­u­la­tions were flow­ing on so­cial me­dia for Emma af­ter the win, in­clud­ing from Strand Celtic FC which said ev­ery­one in the club were ex­tremely proud of her.
