IRISH Life AI Indoor Games Abbotstown ORLAITH Delahunt took home silver in the National Indoor Games on Saturday in the Senior Women’s 3000m walk.

GREAT performances by the Sligo AC crew who travelled to Dundalk for the Irish Life Health National Masters/Intermediate Cross Country today. Congratulations to Seamie Somers taking home an All Ireland Bronze medal in the Masters O45. Great end to a fantastic Cross Country season for Seamus.
WELL done also to Shane Hayes who finished 4th in the Masters O40, Kevin Mc Gloin 8th O50, David Kerins 15th O45, Bill Carty 16th O45, Frank Kelly 28th O55.
A great performance by the Sligo AC ladies taking home an All Ireland Silver Team medal in the National intermediate cross country today in Dundalk. It was a fast technical race from start to finish. Aoife Kilgallon 4th overall, Eavan Mc Loughlin, Karen Mulrooney and Laura English.
GREAT Running also by the Sligo AC ladies Masters Team who took home the National Bronze medal in the O50 category. Mari Johnston finished an excellent 6th. Fantastic running by Cindy Mc Carthy, Noreen Joyce and Fiona Melvin.
JOHN Treacy 10 Mile Dungarvan
WELL done to Sligo AC’s Fionnuala O’Connell who travelled to Dungarven on Sunday for the John Treacy 10 miler and ran a PB of 74.14 taking over 2 minutes off her time.
TRIM 10 miler
WELL done to Marty Cawley who ran the race in a time of 75:43 with a 4 minute PB on the Sligo coast to coast 10 mile race last september.
