Sec­ond lit­tle li­brary ‘opens’

The sec­ond Wex­ford Lit­tle Free Li­brary is in­stalled, at the new gate in Red­mond Park. This is in­tended as a Li­brary for chil­dren’s books only and over the past week­end at­tracted a steady stream of young­sters.

The won­der­ful art­work on this oc­ca­sion is by Bet­tina Meyler.

Leonard Kelly, who came up with the idea, is pic­tured with builder Brian Walsh and from left, Sarah Walsh, Co­nan Kelly and Isaac Kelly.

The first Lit­tle Free Li­brary was re­cently set up at the Bull Ring.

A third Lit­tle Free Li­brary is planned for the White­rock Hill area.
