Warrant issued for arrest
A SIMPLE speed prosecution against John Quigley of Kilmallock, Ballymurn turned out to be not so straightforward when it was considered at the District Court in Wexford.
The defendant motorist was summonsed for allegedly driving at 99 km/h in Barntown.
A warrant for Quigley’s arrest was issued at Wexford District Court after Judge Gerard Haughton was told that it appeared two licences had been issued to the accused.
The judge examined documents and noted that a 12 year disqualification dating back to November of 2011 was on the record against one of these licences.
