CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

Down Syndrome Ireland church gate collection will take place at all Masses this weekend in Glynn and Barntown (November 18 and 19). Your support would be very much appreciate­d.

TABLE QUIZ

A table quiz in aid of the Samaritans will take place in Mary Jo’s Pub, Larkin’s Cross on December 2 at 9 p.m. A table of four is just €20. Your support would be much appreciate­d.

HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING

A coffee morning will take place on Thursday, November 16, from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at Boggan’s Shop (Tea Room) Newtown Road. All are invited to attend.

CAMOGIE

Well done to our minor camogie team who defeated Blackwater comfortabl­y away last Saturday morning in championsh­ip. Having won their four games the girls have topped their group and qualified for a semi-final place.

SENIOR GAA

Well done to our under-21 footballer­s who had a win over Ballyhogue in Bree on Saturday afternoon last in Round one of the championsh­ip.
