A young Wexford boy will be the envy of many a child star this week, when he shows off his musical talent during a prime time slot on national television.

Boy soprano Eamonn Mulhall will join a host of other talented youngsters on Friday night for the Late Late Toy Show.

Eamonn, who hails from Pinewood, will sing a song from his newly-released Christmas album, ‘The Joys of Christmas’.

The 15-year-old recorded the album on Shay Hennessy’s new label ‘New Beginning International’. The recording, which is currently on record store shelves, includes all the usual Christmas favourites.

Eamonn, who is currently a third year student in St. Finian’s College, Mullingar, will be busy over Christmas as he publicises his tape. He will appear with Irish tenor John McNally for four dates, including one in the Cork Opera House and two in the National Concert Hall. He will also appear on The Sandy Kelly Show on RTE television early in the New Year.
