The senior citizen Christmas party will take place in the Horse and Hound on Sunday, December 10, at 6 p.m. Invitations will be out this week, but if you don’t get an invitation and you are eligible to go please let any ICA member know, thank you. Clonroche Pantomime Society, together with Carrickbyrne Pike Group are working hard in preparation for their upcoming musical ‘Devine Intervention’. The musical will run from December 5 to December 9, Tuesday through to Saturday.

YOUTH CLUB NEWS
Our Junior Club members will be going to the Rathnure Pantomime on December 18. The cost will be €10 which includes the bus and entry in. Anyone interested in attending, please give your name at club night.
CAROL SINGING – Our Club Members will be participating in the annual Carol Service after Mass in Bree on Saturday, December 16. All proceeds go to HOPE. We would like to invite everyone down to the hall after this for some Hot Chocolate to warm up.
WINTER FUN RUN/WALK – This year, Bree Youth Club will be holding a winter Fun Run/Walk in aid of the Wexford Women’s and Men’s Refuge on December 30 at 1 p.m. We have a 10k for €5 and a 5k for €3 on offer for participants. Registration is from 11.45 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. in Bree Community Centre before the event. A great family day out with some lovely spot prizes on the day.
OTHER NEWS – We would like to say a big thank you to our leaders Joey Murray, Larry Delaney, Martin Cahill, Jason Broaders, Debbie Carr, Mark Rodgers and Anne Sullivan for all their help during the soccer tournament.
Our Senior End of Trip will be to Carlingford on the 15th to July 16, 2018. The cost will be €110 which includes the bus, three activities, an evening meal, breakfast and lunch and board for the night. A payment plan of paying €5 a night will be set up after Christmas for those interested in going on the trip.
Our Juniors will be going to Clara Lara in the summer. Price to follow in the coming weeks. A payment plan will also be set up for this trip.
BREE AC NEWS
The AGM took place in Bree Hall and officers for 2018 are chairman; William Spratt Murphy, secretary; Clare Doyle and treasurer; Una Doyle. The presentation of annual awards took place following the AGM; Athlete of the Year – Seán Rowley; John Godkin Award – Abbie Doyle: Bree ICA Award – Oisin Rochford; Peter Byrne Award – Darra Casey; Pat O’Leary Award – Katie Doyle; Tony Greene Award – Gracie Kehoe; Paul Kehoe Award – Aoife Cloke Rochford; Special Merit Awards – Ciara Laffan and Keira Wilson.
On Saturday the ninth and Sunday the 10th after both Masses there will be a cake sale in the Old School Centre. All donations would be greatly appreciated for the cake sale and raffle, donations can be left into the centre before both Masses.
