Scoil Mhuire race night for the pitch

A race night, aimed at raising money for an all-weather astro surface for Scoil Mhuire Coolcotts’ pitch, will take place on Thursday, March 8, at the Talbot Hotel.

The school hopes to develop the pitch as the grass surface is too wet to use for most of the year.

The event kicks off at 7.30 p.m. and will feature 10 races with big names like Arkle, Red Rum and Shergar mooted to make an appearance.
