A CHARITY NIGHT THAT WON’T BE FORGOTTEN

-

AN EVENING of top class entertainment awaits those attending the first ‘Forget Me Not’ charity concert at the National Opera House at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 25.

As a way of showing their gratitude, the Carty family are presenting a fund raising concert in aid of three organisations, Wexford Branch of Alzheimers Society, St Brigid’s Day Care Centre and Abbeygale House, as a thank you ‘for the wonderful care that was given to their mother, Maureen, after she was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2011 and was cared for by these wonderful local institutions up until her sad passing recently’.

An evening of song from show-stopping musicals, lively swing to dramatic anthems and even classic soul featuring Tony Carty and his band Blackjack, Fintan Cleary, Bill Doyle, Colette Cleary and very special guests including Naoimh Penston, James McDermott, Maggs Jacob, the legendary Des Whelan, Catherine ‘Biddy’ Walsh, George Lawlor, Helena Bates and The Wexford Jersey Boys.

Tickets at €20 are now available for what will be a truly spectacular one night only. Visit nationaloperahouse.ie. Back: Tony Carty, Muirinn Carty and Caitlin Carty. Front: Dano Carty, Maureen Carty, Eabha Carty, Leonie Donovan and Seán White.
