SHAUNA SCULLION, WEXFORD, PRESENTED BY ACTING CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT, JIM DOYLE

Shauna (16) is a student at Selskar College. At ten, she suffered sight loss and was registered blind and a white cane user. She received tremendous support and had surgery to fit an ocular prosthesis. She gets on with each task that comes her way and leads an active life. She is an active fundraiser for mental health and has been a guest speaker at the Lions Club International Weekend. She plays golf and sails regularly.
