Dis­ney de­light for lit­tle princesses

THERE WAS some­thing of a home­com­ing for a lo­cal dancer when she took on the job of teach­ing the youngest chil­dren at the Wex­ford School of Bal­let and Per­form­ing Arts.

Eil­ish Coady started her training Bal­let, Mod­ern and Jazz at the age of three be­fore pro­gress­ing to Ju­nior and Se­nior training at the Royal Bal­let School in Lon­don as a Royal Bal­let As­so­ciate. She sub­se­quently se­cured a schol­ar­ship to train at the Bird Col­lege of Dance and Per­form­ing Arts in Lon­don.

On grad­u­at­ing from Bird Col­lege in 2006, she spent many years work­ing with the Walt Dis­ney Com­pany as a dancer and char­ac­ter per­former in Dis­ney Paris, Tokyo and Ja­pan. Her roles in­cluded Cin­derella, Ariel and Ra­pun­zel.

She is now de­lighted to be shar­ing her ex­pe­ri­ences with some of WSBPA’s lit­tle princesses.
