Daily line-up for the Bray Air Dis­play is an­nounced

THE daily line-up for this year’s Bray Air Dis­play has been an­nounced, with on­the-ground ac­tiv­i­ties start­ing at mid­day each day, and the air­show it­self from 3.30 p.m. on Satur­day, July 22 and 2 p.m. on Sun­day, July 23.

Fif­teen acts will per­form on the Satur­day, along with a fur­ther five acts also per­form­ing on the Sun­day, bring­ing the to­tal on Sun­day to 20 high qual­ity par­tic­i­pat­ing air dis­play acts.

The gar­dai have asked those at­tend­ing the air dis­play to use pub­lic trans­port wher­ever pos­si­ble. There will be a com­pre­hen­sive traf­fic man­age­ment plan in place

through­out the two days of the event, which is de­signed to get vis­i­tors in and out of the town as quickly and eas­ily as pos­si­ble.

Brayairdis­play.com will have in­for­ma­tion on road clo­sures and traf­fic re­stric­tions on­line in the com­ing week.

Acts to per­form on both days in­clude the Royal Jor­da­nian Fal­cons, The Cataline, Ir­ish Air Corp, Swedish Air Force, Bri­tish Spit­fire, The Black Knights, The Strike­mas­ters, Nor­we­gian MIG and Vam­pires, The Fire­files, The Ravens, Ir­ish Coast Guard Search and Res­cue Demon­stra­tion, Aer Lin­gus Dc-3, and the Ir­ish Parachute Club.

A fur­ther five acts will be in­cluded on the Sun­day – F-18 Jet from the Span­ish Air­force, Pa­trouille Tran­chant, The Blades, Ir­ish His­toric Flight Foun­da­tion and Aer Lin­gus A321 pas­sen­ger air­craft. There will be he­li­copter rides both

days.
