Arklow motorist fined for speeding
A SPEEDING fine was handed down at Wexford District Court last Tuesday to Conor Geoghan of Bertra House, Woodbine Avenue, Arklow.
He was detected driving at 122 km/h in Camross on the N25 (where there is a 100km/h speed limit) last November.
The Arklow resident failed to pay the fine issued in the post and, in court, he explained that he received the notice late as he was working away from home.
He was docked €150 by Judge Gerard Haughton, who confirmed that the conviction would automatically attract five penalty points.
