Council agrees to land disposals
COUNCILLORS agreed to the disposal of a number of assets belonging to Wicklow County Council at last week’s meeting of Wicklow County Council.
0.5265 acres of land, consisting of a 0.244 acre plot and a 0.215 acre area, situated in Kilbride, Arklow, was disposed of to the IDA at the Kilbride Industrial Estate, Arklow.
The elected members voted in favour of allowing Baltinglass Town AFC secure a 35 year lease of 1.7 acres of land at Parkmore, Baltinglass.
0.0069 hectares of land situated in Knockanrahan Lower, Arklow was disposed of to Richard Cooke and Catherine Boyd, Templerainey Park, Arklow.
It was also agreed to go ahead with the construction of a temporary single storey marketing suite and alterations to the previously approved plans at blocks E,F, G, H, I, J and terraces number 13 and 14 at Rathdown Upper and Rathdown Lower/Greystones Harbour at North Beach, Greystones.
A Part VIII of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001, was passed in respect of a playground and play space at South Beach, Mill Road, Greystones.
Cllr Jennifer Whitmore thanked the playground committee and their team for progressing the project.
