Dis­abil­ity meet­ing

Peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties who live, work or so­cialise in the Ark­low and Wick­low ar­eas are asked to at­tend a work­shop which aims to iden­tify and pro­pose so­lu­tions to com­mon ac­ces­si­bil­ity is­sues in their lo­cal area.

Dur­ing the work­shop is­sues such as phys­i­cal ac­cess, ac­cess to lo­cal ser­vices and rais­ing aware­ness of the is­sues af­fect­ing peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties lo­cally.

In­for­ma­tion from the sem­i­nar will sup­port Wick­low County Coun­cil to re­spond to the needs of peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties in Co Wick­low.

The event will take place on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in The Pres­by­te­rian Church Hall, Dublin Road, Ti­knock, Ark­low.
