NEW STEP FOR ULTAN WITH QUIN’S PHAR­MACY IN BRAY

MIN­IS­TER for Health Si­mon Har­ris was in Bray last Thurs­day af­ter­noon for the of­fi­cial open­ing of Quin’s Phar­macy on Quins­boro Road.

‘This re­ally is a fan­tas­tic show of con­fi­dence in the town of Bray that an­other in­de­pen­dent busi­ness is open­ing,’ said Min­is­ter Har­ris.

‘I want to take this op­por­tu­nity to wish ev­ery­one in Quin’s well in their new busi­ness and com­mend the Bray busi­ness com­mu­nity for work­ing to con­tinue to at­tract new busi­nesses into the town.

‘Grow­ing and de­vel­op­ing the busi­ness com­mu­nity in Bray is key to cre­at­ing more jobs and I will con­tinue to work to as­sist in any way that I can.

Bray man and phar­ma­cist Ultan McKeon is at the helm of the new ven­ture.

The fam­ily owned and man­aged com­mu­nity phar­macy aims ‘to im­prove and main­tain the health and well-be­ing of our cus­tomers and com­mu­nity by pro­vid­ing the high­est pos­si­ble lev­els of ser­vice and care,’ they said.

Ultan has al­ways been in­ter­ested in science and medicine. He stud­ied phar­macy in Scot­land and qual­i­fied as a phar­ma­cist in 2001.

Ultan worked in com­mu­nity phar­ma­cies all over Dublin be­fore re­turn­ing to Bray where he can ap­ply his many years of ex­pe­ri­ence to his job on a daily ba­sis.
