TWO WINNERS AT IRISH PUB REGIONAL AWARDS
TWO County Wicklow bars are celebrating this week after collecting Irish Pub Awards in the eastern regional final.
The awards, which are jointly presented by the Vintners Federation of Ireland and the Licenced Vintners Association, aim to reward excellence and innovation across a variety of categories.
At the awards ceremony in Judge Roy Bean’s in Newbridge, the Glenmalure Lodge was deemed to be the Best Tourist Pub in the eastern region while Mickey Finn’s Pub in Redcross collected the award for Best Food Pub.
Both are now among the 56 regional winners going forward to the national awards ceremony which takes place in the RDS Concert Hall on November 8.
