TWO WIN­NERS AT IR­ISH PUB REGIONAL AWARDS

TWO County Wick­low bars are cel­e­brat­ing this week after col­lect­ing Ir­ish Pub Awards in the east­ern regional fi­nal.

The awards, which are jointly pre­sented by the Vint­ners Fed­er­a­tion of Ire­land and the Li­cenced Vint­ners As­so­ci­a­tion, aim to re­ward ex­cel­lence and in­no­va­tion across a va­ri­ety of cat­e­gories.

At the awards cer­e­mony in Judge Roy Bean’s in New­bridge, the Glen­malure Lodge was deemed to be the Best Tourist Pub in the east­ern re­gion while Mickey Finn’s Pub in Red­cross col­lected the award for Best Food Pub.

Both are now among the 56 regional win­ners going for­ward to the national awards cer­e­mony which takes place in the RDS Con­cert Hall on Novem­ber 8.
