Volunteers are needed

Wicklow People (Arklow) - - NEWS -

Failte Isteach is a Conversational English Language Project co-ordinated by County Wicklow Partnership through the SICAP Programme. The project is aimed at providing free conversational English classes for migrants in an informal setting. They are looking for volunteer tutors for the Arklow classes. No experience or qualifications are necessary as a friendly welcoming attitude is most important. They will provide a thorough induction, with ongoing support from the facilitator. A commitment of two hours per week on Monday evenings would be required.

For further information about volunteering for the English conversational classes contact Frances Creegan, County Wicklow Partnership on 085 8006872 or 0402 20955.
