LO­CAL En­ter­prise Of­fice, Wicklow and Fáilte Ire­land are invit­ing Wicklow Tourism Op­er­a­tors to at­tend a free Sem­i­nar on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 23 in the Parkview Ho­tel, New­town­moun­tkennedy to ex­plore the topic of ‘Mar­ket­ing your Tourism Busi­ness On­line’. THE ob­jec­tive of the sem­i­nar is to help busi­nesses de­velop and im­ple­ment suc­cess­ful dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing strate­gies/cam­paigns and max­imise the op­por­tu­ni­ties from the Ire­land’s An­cient East Brand.

Key­note speaker on the evening is dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing ex­pert Amanda Webb, of Spi­der­work­ Amanda will be shar­ing her ex­per­tise on how to write great con­tent for so­cial me­dia, ways to in­cor­po­rate the Ire­land’s An­cient East story into mar­ket­ing ac­tiv­ity and mea­sur­ing ef­fec­tive­ness of cam­paigns. There will be a fo­cus on prac­ti­cal tools to help op­er­a­tors such as high­light­ing where the in­dus­try can ac­cess free re­sources on­line as well as pro­vid­ing con­tent mar­ket­ing strat­egy tem­plates which can be tai­lored and adapted for each in­di­vid­ual busi­ness.

Aoife O’Driscoll-Mansergh, Mar­ket­ing & Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Man­ager for Pow­er­scourt Es­tate will also share her ex­pe­ri­ence of how Pow­er­scourt House have used their so­cial me­dia mar­ket­ing ac­tiv­ity to en­joy the ben­e­fits of be­ing part of Ire­land’s An­cient East Brand.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the Lo­cal En­ter­prise Of­fice, Fáilte Ire­land, Wicklow Tourism, and County Wicklow Part­ner­ship will give a quick snap­shot of sup­ports avail­able lo­cally for tourism busi­nesses. The evening will also present an op­por­tu­nity for busi­ness own­ers and managers to speak to agency rep­re­sen­ta­tives on a one to one ba­sis and to net­work and build re­la­tion­ships with other tourism providers in the county.

On the night busi­nesses can also reg­is­ter for In­di­vid­ual Dig­i­tal Mar­ket­ing Men­tor­ing ses­sions which will take place in Lo­cal En­ter­prise Of­fice, Wicklow County Cam­pus, Rath­new on Novem­ber 30.
