No ob­jec­tions from coun­cil­lors over dis­posal of coun­cil lands

A NUM­BER of dis­pos­als of coun­cil as­sets were passed with­out ob­jec­tion dur­ing last Mon­day’s Wick­low County Coun­cil meet­ing.

Coun­cil­lors agreed to the dis­posal of 1.85 acres of land at Red­nagh Road, Aughrim, to the Trus­tees of Aughrim Com­mu­nity Sports and Leisure As­so­ci­a­tion. The dis­posal was pro­posed by Cllr Pat Kennedy.

Cllr Ed­ward Tim­mins pro­posed the dis­posal of 285sqm of there­abouts known as the En­ter­prise Units at Lathaleer, Balt­in­glass to Eric Woods, 12 Ver­scholy Rise, Sag­gart Abbey, Ci­ty­west, Dublin T/A SP Sports and Leisure.

Cllr John Snell pro­posed the dis­posal of 0.0014ha or there­abouts of land in the town land of Mer­rymeet­ing, Rath­new, ad­join­ing plot to 67 Seav­iew Heights, Rath­new, to Joanne Fox and David McDon­ald of 67 Seav­iew Heights, Rath­new.

Cllr Shay Cullen pro­posed the dis­posal of 0.1182 hectares at Brock­agh (Knock­fin), part of land reg­istry fo­lio WW4484, be­ing all of prop­erty 174 by way of deed of rec­ti­fi­ca­tion to Martha O’Neill, Knock­fin, Glen­dalough.

The elected mem­bers were also asked to con­sider Part 8 al­ter­ations to the pre­vi­ously ap­proved ter­race num­ber 12 and al­ter­ations and re­design of pre­vi­ously ap­proved pub­lic park at Rath­down Up­per and Rath­down Lower/Grey­stones Har­bour and North Beach, Grey­stones. There was a de­crease by three in the num­bers of res­i­den­tial units ap­proved. The num­ber of dis­abled park­ing bays will be in­creased, while the park de­sign was al­tered to in­cor­po­rate a dog park.

20 coun­cil­lors voted in favour of the Part 8, while 12 mem­bers weren’t present in the cham­ber dur­ing the vote.

Coun­cil­lors Pat Kennedy, Ed­ward Tim­mins, John Snell and Shay Cullen all pro­posed the dis­posal of as­sets.
