A great day of celebration was helf in honour of Lacken woman Dolores Madden who turned 80 recently.

Dolores was stunned to enter the surprise party which was organised by her daughter Fiona and took place in Germaines of Baltinglass.

She had no idea what her family had arranged and thought thats he was goin to the supermarket with her daughter Tina.

It was particularly special for Dolores to see four generations of her family in the same room.

She was joined by her children Fiona, Tina and Martin and their families and best wishes were sent by daughter Sandra and her family from abroad.

Great-grandchildren Nollaig, Naoise, Abigail and Cian were proud to make a presentation of flowers to Dolores on her special day.
