Bel-Air Hotel owners hand over proceeds of 80th birthday bash
THE Bel Air Hotel and Equestrian Centre raised €4,415 for Wicklow Cancer Support through a special ‘Stetsons and Shades’ 80th anniversary celebration.
Bel Air Hotel and Equestrian Centre celebrates 80 year anniversary this year after Tim and Bridie Murphy from Cliff Castle Hotel in Dalkey bought Bel Air Hotel in Ashford in 1937. Four generations and 80 years later the family business is still going strong .
To mark the occasion Bel Air held a themed party night featuring live music, a DJ, finger foods and plenty of dancing. Lots of photos and memorabilia tracing Bel Air over the past 80 years also featured on the night.
Noni Law paid a visit to the Wicklow Cancer Support offices recently where she presented Eileen Ears with the cheque for €4,415.
