Bel-Air Ho­tel own­ers hand over pro­ceeds of 80th birth­day bash

THE Bel Air Ho­tel and Eques­trian Cen­tre raised €4,415 for Wick­low Can­cer Sup­port through a spe­cial ‘Stet­sons and Shades’ 80th an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tion.

Bel Air Ho­tel and Eques­trian Cen­tre cel­e­brates 80 year an­niver­sary this year af­ter Tim and Bri­die Mur­phy from Cliff Cas­tle Ho­tel in Dalkey bought Bel Air Ho­tel in Ash­ford in 1937. Four gen­er­a­tions and 80 years later the fam­ily busi­ness is still go­ing strong .

To mark the oc­ca­sion Bel Air held a themed party night fea­tur­ing live mu­sic, a DJ, fin­ger foods and plenty of danc­ing. Lots of photos and mem­o­ra­bilia trac­ing Bel Air over the past 80 years also fea­tured on the night.

Noni Law paid a visit to the Wick­low Can­cer Sup­port of­fices re­cently where she pre­sented Eileen Ears with the cheque for €4,415.
