Worst songs ever recorded?
Wikipedia has made a brave stab at listing the worst songs of all time – using polls and lists produced by various magazines, TV channels and websites. It’s hardly a surprise that Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’ (see above) is in there…but here are ten others you might not have expected to see:

Ice Ice Baby Vanilla Ice According to the Houston Press, this ‘set back the cause of white people in hip-hop a decade’. We Built This City Starship This No 1 hit has even been disowned by Starship’s co-lead singer Grace Slick. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da The Beatles Hated by John Lennon, this was voted worst song ever recorded in a poll commissioned by Mars. McArthur Park Richard Harris It was the winner of a 1969 Grammy, but this Jimmy Webb composition manages to figure prominently in most polls of worst songs.
