Great turn-out at annual bargain hunt

Wicklow People (West Edition) - - NEWS -

BARGAIN hunters were out in force for a jumble sale which took place in the Church Hall of Wicklow Methodist Church.

Church members organised the bargain hunt which featured all kinds of everything up for grabs.

A steady stream of customers with an eye for a bargain searched through the collection of donated clothes, toys and bric-a-brac on the hunt for a gem of a buy.

Stalls also sold homeware, jewellery, toys, books and some lovely cakes. The sale also offered the perfect opportunity to purchase some early Christmas gifts before the usual festival shopping rush.

The Methodist Church and organisers are delighted with how the day went – not only in terms of the money raised but also because of the great sense of community spirit that filled the hall on Saturday afternoon.

They have sent their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the sale, either by donating or purchasing items.
