Training course to help local firms drive traffic to website
A COURSE on how to increase traffic to your website takes place at Arklow Business Enterprise Centre this Thursday, October 11.
The I.T. training course has been arranged by Local Enterprise Office Wicklow.
Having a website that ranks high on internet search engines is imperative for small businesses.
This course will demonstrate how to use search engine optimisation (SEO) to drive customers to your website. Both free listing techniques and pay-per-click listings will be covered.
There will also be a brief introduction to Google Analytics and the use of meta tags.
This is a vital course for anyone that is about or has invested in a website, yet doesn’t feel they are generating enough traffic to it.
The course runs from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs €60. The trainer will be Dorcas Réamonn, Talentpool Ltd.
The course is suitable for people with some experience of attempting a pay per-click application such as Google adwords, and familiarity with the concepts of organic SEO/megatags would be highly advisable.
