Conversational English classes about to start

CONVERSATIONAL English classes will be start­ing in the com­ing weeks in Ark­low.

The classes, which have al­ready started in Wick­low town, are be­ing sup­ported by County Wick­low Com­mu­nity Part­ner­ship and are part of the Failte Isteach pro­gramme. Mi­grants with dif­fer­ent lev­els of English from be­gin­ners to ad­vanced are wel­come to join the classes, which will run reg­u­larly on a weekly ba­sis ex­cept dur­ing school hol­i­days.

In Ark­low, the classes will get un­der way on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 16, in Ark­low Li­brary and will take place ev­ery Tues­day from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Wick­low town classes be­gan on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 20, at The Ecol­ogy Cen­tre in the Do­mini­can and take place ev­ery Thurs­day from 10 .m. to noon.
