CABARET

A cabaret is be­ing held in the Glen­dalough Ho­tel next Satur­day night, Novem­ber 10, at 9.30 p.m. in aid of se­nior cit­i­zens Christ­mas party.

TALK ON WILLS/POWER OF AT­TOR­NEY

A talk fol­lowed by a dis­cus­sion on Wills and En­dur­ing power of At­tor­ney will be hled on the Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 28, at 8 p.m. in the Parish Cen­tre. The talk will be given by a qual­i­fied le­gal prac­ti­tioner.

SAVE A LIFE, LEARN CPR

Would you know how to do CPR on some­body who needs it? Would you recog­nise the signs of Stroke?

Come along to a pub­lic in­for­ma­tion evening in the Parish Hall on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 17, at 8 p.m. where Round­wood Car­diac First Re­spon­ders will host a CPR/AED (de­fib­ril­la­tor) demo and pro­vide some hands on ex­pe­ri­ence for those at­tend­ing.

There will also be in­for­ma­tion on chok­ing in in­fants and adults and how to recog­nise Stroke and a short video on the role of Car­diac First Re­spon­der team and how it is linked to the Am­bu­lance Ser­vice Every­body is wel­come and as there are now Pub­lic Ac­cess De­fib­ril­la­tors avail­able in the vil­lage it is im­por­tant that as many peo­ple as pos­si­ble know how to use them.

SALE OF WORK

Round­wood and Moneystown Christ­mas Sale of work will take place in An Tochar GAA Com­plex on Sun­day, December 2, from 12 4 p.m. A great day out for all the fam­ily with some­thing for every­one. All donations for the var­i­ous stalls will be grate­fully ac­cepted and can be left with Maureen in the parish of­fice be­tween 9.30 and 1 p.m. (Mon-Thurs) be­fore Novem­ber 29

The next bingo takes place on Sun­day next, Novem­ber 11, at 3 p.m. in An­namoe Com­mu­nity Cen­tre.

UNITY GOSPEL CHOIR

The Unity Gospel Choir will hold a fundrais­ing con­cert in Ti­nakilly House Rath­new on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 15, at 8 p.m. Tick­ets price €15 (€10 con­ces­sion) are avail­able from Earls Newsagents Wick­low or on the door. A beau­ti­ful cal­en­dar with orig­i­nal art work by mem­bers of St Kevin’s Stu­dio Art Group will be on sale for €10 on the night. All money raised will go to Wick­low De­men­tia Sup­port Group to as­sist in their won­der­ful work. A great evening of en­ter­tain­ment is in prospect.

ROUND­WOOD WHIZZERS

Round­wood Whizzers Walk­ing Group are back in ac­tion meet­ing at 7 p.m. ev­ery Wed­nes­day at the Coach House car park. All wel­come to walk at your own pace for ap­prox­i­mately one hour.
