WICK­LOW RE­GATTA QUEEN BALL

The Grand Ho­tel 7.30 p.m. The queen of the 139th Wick­low Re­gatta Fes­ti­val will be crowned at this black-tie af­fair. There will be a four-course din­ner, en­ter­tain­ment and prizes. Tick­ets cost €50 and are avail­able from the ho­tel, Flan­nerys, Malones, Byrnes, Earls and Jailer’s Rest.

PARISH FAREWELL

St Joseph’s Church, Balt­in­glass 7.30 p.m. Par­ish­ioners are in­vited to come along and bid a fond farewell to Fr Tommy Dil­lon as he pre­pares to de­part the parish fol­low­ing a long min­istry in the area. The thanks­giv­ing Mass in the church will be fol­lowed by re­fresh­ments in the parish cen­tre.
