Man who was slurring and unsteady on his feet is fined
A public order prosecution went ahead at the District Court in Wexford last Tuesday against William Griffin (25) of 49 Broadlough View, Greenhill road, Wicklow Town in the absence of the accused.
Garda Kevin Larkin gave evidence of responding on November 6 last year to a report at 12.55 a.m. of a man seen in the middle of the Wexford to Castlebridge road outside the Audi garage. Griffin was discovered in the area, unsteady on his feet and slurred of speech.
In court, a year later, a fine of €300 for public intoxication was imposed by Judge Gerard Haughton.
