AN A+ PERFORMANCE

STUDENTS at Colaiste Craobh Abhann sang and danced their way through last week, with their production of ‘High School Musical’ at Mermaid Arts Centre.

The show was on last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with parents and friends travelling from all around north Wicklow to enjoy the work of the talented cast.

The annual school musical is one of the biggest events in the school calendar.

Students, family, friends and staff were all there to enjoy a wonderfully staged production of ‘High School Musical’ with the leads being played by Ciarán Crimes(Troy) from Transition Year, and Rebecca Gillan (Gabriella) who is a student in second year. All the famous songs were sung with great gusto, including ‘We’re all in this Together’ and ‘Get’cha Head in the Game.’

Students from first, second, TY and fifth year all participated in this year’s musical and it was clear that everyone had lots of fun, both on stage and in the audience. This event is a whole school collaboration with so many people involved including director Siobhán Gallagher and choreographer Yvonne Prendergast as well as staff and backstage crew.
