Irish Water Safety classes Blessing of thegraves

Irish Water Safety swim week in Wicklow takes place from July 2 to July 6. Candidates will learn basic swimming and safety skills.

Registration will be at the Watson slipway on June 23 at 10 a.m. Candidates should be at least four years old. Wetsuits are recommended, but not compulsory. The cost will be €30.

Classes generally run everyday, but please note that class duration can vary depending on level and further information is available at registration. Places on the courses are provided on a first come basis, and it is not possible to register outside of the designated registration. If anyone cannot attend the registration day, they should attend the first day of the course and speak to an available instructor.

The annual Parish Cemetery Sunday/Pattern Sunday in Roundwood will take place on Sunday, July 22. The 11.30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated in Roundwood Cemetery not in the church on this morning. This Mass will be offered for all interred in the cemetery and will include a blessing of the graves.
