Continuing cool on Thursday with variable cloud amounts, sunny spells and occasional showers which will gradually become more widespread through the afternoon. Friday will be mainly dull and damp with outbreaks of rain affecting much of the country, with a clearance to showers later in the day. The weekend will be rather mixed with showers or longer spells of rain. Windy at times.
