Valleymount were back in business and when Daisie Summer Cullen Dunne soloed through, and a lovely dummy solo later, her snapshot crashed to the roof of the net, as it was the red following who were in full voice now.
Valleymount tried to kill off the game, but some brilliant resolute goalkeeping by Miriam Slater was keeping Nic’s in the hunt.
Nic’s battled away, but could not add to their tally, as the started to dominate yet again with four minutes additional minutes played, so far with Valleymount five up.
In the 66th minute, Nics won a penalty and Samantha Mills shook the back of Miley’s net to cut the gap down to two.
The Valleymount faithfull were baying for the full-time whistle at this stage and it finally came moments later.
Valleymount now go onto meet St Patrick’s in the Intermediate final.
