Rain will develop in the south and west later in the night. Thursday will be a mainly wet day for the bulk of the country. Rain will be heaviest in the south and east. The rain will finally clear in the first half of the night. Friday will be bright and blustery with strong westerly winds and scattered showers. The outlook for the weekend is very unsettled with a mix of sunshine and showers in most areas.
