Lion quiz series moves to Whistler’s

Brainpower will be turned up to the max as the latest quiz in the Wicklow Lions Club series takes place tonight (Wednesday, February 6) in Wicklow town.

The event will take place in Whistler’s Lounge at 8.30 p.m. and will be in support of the local scouts and Dominican College Wicklow.

The following week, the minds will be working overtime in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge in Wicklow town as they do their best to support Colaiste Chill Mhantain and the Blue Dolphins.

Last week’s quiz took place in Doyle’s Lounge in Rathnew and helped out the Village Players and St Coen’s NS. After some tough competition, the winning team was made up of Pat Sheehy, Shay Ryan, Harry Murphy and Larry Deveroux. Second place went to the team made up of Declan McInerney, Ann Chambers and Ray St John.
