Historical society

The February talk will be delivered by Arklow historian Chris Power, who has published a book on the 1798 rebellion recently.

The March talk on the last Monday of the month will be delivered by society member Ken Hannigan.

He will speak on James Joyce, his contemporaries and the Wicklow connections.

All of the talks take place at 8 p.m. at the De La Salle Pastoral Centre in Wicklow town.

Preparations are also under way to finalise articles for the 2019 Wicklow Historical Society
