Drugs in car

DRUGS valued at €38,000 was discovered by Gardai in a parked car located at Newtownmountkennedy during the early hours of last Tuesday.

The seizure was part of ongoing operations involving Wicklow Gardai aimed at targeting local drugs distribution networks.

Quantities of cannabis herb along with Benzodiazepines and Zopiclone tablets with a combined estimated street value of €38,000 were found inside the car and were sent for analysis. The vehicle was also seized for forensic examinations. No arrests have yet been made.
