Lufthansa, Germania add flights between Tel Aviv and Germany

Germany is consolidat­ing its position as one of the most popular destinatio­ns for Israelis, with both Lufthansa and Germania Airlines announcing the addition of flights between Tel Aviv and German cities.

Lufthansa, which operates 28 weekly flights between Ben-Gurion Airport and Germany, is adding three more weekly flights. Starting later this month, Lufthansa will add a flight between Tel Aviv and Frankfurt, taking off from Israel on Saturday mornings. In November, Lufthansa will add two new flights on the Tel Aviv-Munich route, taking off from Ben-Gurion at 6:50 a.m. on Sunday and 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Germania Airlines, which has been in business for 30 years and over the past year in Israel, is increasing the number of its weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Dusseldorf. Starting in November, Germania will add a third flight, which will take off on Sunday.
