Pres­i­dent Reu­ven Rivlin poses with Prof. Shlomo Avineri, re­tired judge Shu­lamit Dotan and 10 doc­toral stu­dents, re­cip­i­ents of the pres­ti­gious Pres­i­den­tial Schol­ar­ship, yes­ter­day at the Pres­i­dent’s Res­i­dence in Jerusalem. The grant of NIS 150,000 was given specif­i­cally to those re­search­ing ideas re­lated to Rivlin’s cho­sen topic of ‘sovereignty and peace – na­tional, re­li­gious and com­mu­nal ten­sions in Is­rael and ways to set­tle them peace­fully.’
