For over 25 years Adria­no Be­ren­go has in­vi­ted the mo­st pro­mi­nent na­mes from the in­ter­na­tio­nal art world to his Mu­ra­no fur­na­ce, con­nec­ting them wi­th an ar­ti­sa­nal know-how that would other­wi­se ri­sks being trap­ped by its own my­tho­lo­gy. Sin­ce 2009 the Fon­da­zio­ne Be­ren­go has spon­so­red the bien­na­le ex­hi­bi­tion Glas­stress in the Ve­ne­tian Pa­laz­zo Fran­chet­ti. This year the stri­king and re­vo­lu­tio­na­ry uni­ver­se of Be­ren­go Stu­dio 1989 in­va­des the an­cient Dut­ch ci­ty of Dor­dre­cht. Up to 25 Sep­tem­ber the ex­hi­bi­tion Glas­sfe­ver. Con­tem­po­ra­ry Art in Glass can be seen in a mul­ti-si­te for­mat, that on the one hand hi­ghlights the ex­traor­di­na­ry col­lec­tion of 300 works crea­ted by ar­tists li­ke Joa­na Va­scon­se­los, Jan Fa­bre, Pi­no Ca­sta­gna, To­ny Cragg, Tra­cey Emin and Mim­mo Pa­la­di­no. On the other hand it pre­sen­ts the work that re­sul­ted from the ar­ti­stic re­si­den­cy at Be­ren­go’s fur­na­ce by 5 ar­tists se­lec­ted by Dut­ch in­sti­tu­tions: Ros­sel­la Bi­scot­ti, Fol­kert de Jong, Zo­ro Fei­gl, Tho­máš Li­ber­tí­ny and Gi­ny Vos.
