L’architettura dei valori
The Architecture of Values
The new International Criminal Court in The Hague, design Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, embodies the concepts of justice and transparency that are central to the institution it houses. An additional strength of the project are the interiors, designed with studio Bosch & Fjord, who focused on respecting the working conditions of employees (there are 1,200 workstations) and paid attention to views and natural lighting. The complex, with six towers that are connected to each other on the ground floor and first floor, covers an area of 46,000 square metres and costed 190 million euros.
