Se­le­zio­na­to tra i Ri­sing Ta­len­ts ita­lia­ni da Mai­son&Ob­jet 2018 a Pa­ri­gi, Fe­de­ri­co Pe­ri, so­fi­sti­ca­to e at­ten­to a ri­scri­ve­re con at­ti­tu­di­ne con­tem­po­ra­nea il bel di­se­gno del­la tra­di­zio­ne ita­lia­na, esplo­ra da qual­che an­no il mondo del lighting de­si­gn. Tra pez­zi in edi­zio­ne li­mi­ta­ta, co­me il lam­pa­da­rio Char­lot­te del­la Gal­le­ria Ni­lu­far, e pro­dot­ti di se­rie, co­me la nuo­va so­spen­sio­ne del­la fa­mi­glia Ga­le­rie per Fon­ta­naAr­te, rie­sce far dia­lo­ga­re due mon­di so­lo ap­pa­ren­te­men­te lon­ta­ni. Sem­pre al Sa­lo­ne ve­dre­mo le due nuo­ve lam­pa­de per Edi­tions Mi­la­no: lan­ter­ne giap­po­ne­si ispi­ra­te all’architettura del Bau­haus, do­ve pre­va­le la strut­tu­ra gra­fi­ca che in­gab­bia la lu­ce co­me in gio­co d’om­bre. E tra le novità l’ap­pro­do all’uso di un ma­te­ria­le po­co fre­quen­ta­to dai de­si­gner co­me la pel­le: ov­ve­ro il de­but­to con una col­le­zio­ne di com­ple­men­ti d’ar­re­do per Bax­ter e una cap­su­le col­lec­tion di ar­re­di con­cia­ti, che in­clu­do­no un tap­pe­to, una pol­tro­na e dei ta­vo­li­ni, per l’azien­da di pel­let­te­ria to­sca­na Il Bi­son­te.

Wi­th li­mi­ted edi­tion pie­ces su­ch as the

Char­lot­te chan­de­lier for Ni­lu­far Gal­le­ry, and se­ries-pro­du­ced crea­tions li­ke the new pen­dant lamp in the Ga­le­rie fa­mi­ly for Fon­ta­naAr­te, he ge­ne­ra­tes in­te­rac­tion bet­ween two worlds that are on­ly ap­pa­ren­tly far re­mo­ved from one ano­ther. Al­so at the Fair we will see two new lamps for Edi­tions Mi­la­no: Ja­pa­ne­se lan­terns in­spi­red by Bau­haus ar­chi­tec­tu­re, who­se main fea­tu­re is the gra­phic struc­tu­re that en­clo­ses the bulb to pro­du­ce an in­ter­play of sha­do­ws and light. His la­te­st ideas in­clu­de lea­ther, a ma­te­rial that has been lit­tle used by de­si­gners, wi­th the laun­ch of a col­lec­tion of fur­ni­shing com­ple­men­ts for Bax­ter and a cap­su­le col­lec­tion of tan­ned fur­ni­shings, in­clu­ding a rug, an arm­chair and so­me oc­ca­sio­nal ta­bles for the Tu­scan lea­ther firm Il Bi­son­te.
