As Francisco Gomez Paz says, “Eutopia is the demonstration of how, in the age of the 4.0 industrial revolution, a design project, with all its values and complexity, can come about, grow and be produced even in situations far removed from the industrial context.” Designed and produced with complete autonomy by the Argentine designer (working in the field of seating for the first time) in his workshop in Salta, 1,400 km from Buenos Aires, this chair has a sophisticated construction: it is extremely lightweight (just 1,800 gr.), has multi-laminate legs with a cross-style interlock, can be fitted together without nails or screws, and is made of Paulownia, a durable wood that has only recently been discovered.
